Student course evaluations for Fall 2009 will be done through WebCampus again.  They will open at 8:00am on November 23rd and close at 5:00pm on December 9th.  These are a valuable tool for maintaining and improving the standards of teaching in the CSE department and giving you, the student, the best possible classroom experience. They are completely anonymous so please login to your WebCampus between 11/23 and 12/9 to complete the evaluations for your Fall 2009 courses.

CSE Graduate student, Juan Quiroz, is looking for graduate and undergraduate volunteers to participate in user studies to be conducted Satuday, October 24th, from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, October 25th, from 10am to 8pm. However, these times are flexible for volunteers’ convenience.  The purpose of the study is to analyze the benefits of computer supported design.

All CSE students should be advised prior to Spring 2010 registration.  Students with fewer than 59 credits will not be able to register until they have been advised.  If you are a Junior or Senior, contact the CSE office during regular business hours in SEM 242 or 784-6974 for an appointment.  If you are a Freshman or Sophomore, following are the instructions: 

1.    Click here: https://www.cis.unr.edu/adviseCoEN/ to get started.

2.    Log in with your NetID and password.

3.    Fill out all fields. If you don’t know your R#, please log into ePAWS and your R# will be located at the upper left directly under “Menu Options”.

4.    Choose “Schedule Appointment” in the left column under “Navigation”.

5.    There is only one “Appt Type”…”CoEN Advising”…choose that.

6.    There are many choices for “Major”…if you have not yet declared a major, select “Undecided Engr”. If you are planning to change your major, select the new major.

7.    The dates are not labeled with days of the week, so you will need to consult a calendar to make sure you choose the correct day.

8.    Select the “Date” and “Available Time” you prefer by clicking “Take”. Confirm your appointment by clicking “Yes, I wish to take this appointment”.

9.    You will receive an email confirming the day, time and location of your appointment. If you need to cancel, please try to do that as early as possible so someone else can take that slot.
